Elena cut her eye towards her. "You jumped from Matt right to Tyler, Caroline."

"Not immediately after and Tyler wasn't Matt's brother!"

Bonnie sighed. "This isn't helping anything."

"Yeah of course choose her side," said Caroline, throwing up her hands.

"I'm not choosing anybody's side, there are no sides, I just don't see what pointing fingers is going to do, we all have complicated love lives!"

"But there's nothing complicated about this." Caroline looked at Elena. "You're with Damon, Elena and the way you're acting is entirely unfair to Stefan. I was the one who told him about you two--"

"Yeah, I'm aware," said Elena through gritted teeth.

"He was in so much pain but he didn't show up to where you were and make you feel like shit for sleeping with him."
