The great thing that Mernau does here with “Your Heart” is really explore the space between all the clicks and snaps that would drive a more upbeat track. It’s easy to forget that there’s musical depth to be explored in every inch of a song, and the Bristol-based producer doesn’t disappoint over the course of “Your Heart”. Then, once the rise and fall has completed its cycle, the track ends in the same manner that it came in, perfectly closing the circle.
