A Life Debt Owed
@mercenary-mouse
“We could go to the market place?”
“Really? A market?”
“Well.. what about that auction going on? It’s pretty close.”
“Yeah. What do you think, Deadlock?”
“As long as it gets you two to shut up.”
The two bots shared a laugh, “We wouldn’t shut up, but we’d end up leaving you alone.”
“I’ll take what I can get then.”
“Alright!” They both jumped up, one grabbing Deadlock’s arm before dragging him along.
**********
Deadlock peered through a small corridor, crimson optics landing on a bot chained to the far wall, He paused, earning himself a small nudge from one of the bots trialing behind him.
“Ya coming?”
“I”ll catch up later,” Deadlock waved a servo in dismissal, not waiting for a reply as he wondered off. His arms crossed as he walked, optics giving little glances towards any other bot in the corridor. It was late so there weren’t as many bots walking around, but there was still a decent amount, most of which who seemed sketchy. He kept his guard up, moving like he had a purpose even though he knew he didn’t.
Deadlock stopped a few steps in front of the bound bot, arms dropping as he just.. stared. Maybe he had seemingly showed a little too much interest…
“Hey there! You seem interested in this one.”
Deadlock almost didn’t here the mech, turning slightly to acknowledge them, “Yeah?” Maybe that wasn’t the right answer..
“Splendid,” the mech clapped his servos together, “they’re pretty nice, just as the sign says too, ‘very unique and one of a kind.” The smile the mech was giving unnerved Deadlock, something about it was too artificial.
“How much?”
Magnum Ace stood on the mound, practicing his pitching.
Bull Armor was over at the catcher’s position, helping him out. “Hit me with your best shot, Magnum!”
💕💕💕 (Runn)
Nightbreaker grinned, and nodded to the other. “Slag yeah I’ll go on a date with you. That sounds like fun. But let’s go somewhere other than a bar this time.”

Jazz looked in disbelief as Deadlock came in the bridge. “Names Jazz, designation is fun.” He said as he blew him a kiss.
<<An Autobot...>> Huh. So Deadlock was speaking with an Autobot. He shifted in his seat, legs crossing over one another as he looked blankly at the monitor in front of him.
<<So.. Jazz. I don’t actually know how your frequency came into my contact, but I can certainly think of a few benefits>> The Decepticon shifted in his seat once more, elbows resting on the arms of the chair, optics skimming over the monitor again as something a little more interesting pops up.
<<Where are ya right now>> Deadlock had to wonder if the Autobot would be so willing to just give away his location.

"Lover? Do you know what 'docking' is?"
“Uh..I think so? I mean I’ve heard some stuff about it, but not much. Why do you ask?”
Jazz is locked up in the brig. He pranked Prowl
Crimson optics surveyed over monitor after monitor, an agitated sigh passing the Decepticon’s lips as he leaned back into his chair. There was little Deadlock could do at this point. He had been ordered to stay back, had been order to watch a boring console in Turmoils’s absence. If he could see that mech he would probably have done something stupid that would have involved a lot of yelling, a few new dents, possibly some new holes in the walls. Deadlock wasn’t really one to hold back, nor was Turmoil.
He let out an irritated growl, optics rolling before he looked around the room. Deadlock was alone at the moment, and with his growing boredom, he was going to end up doing something stupid anyway.
Deadlock looked through a few of the saved frequencies in his communications link, most of which were unusable or just offline. He actually tried to use a few of them, always ending up being greeted by firewalls and/or static. The Decepticon perked up however, a little curious when he came across a frequency he did not exactly remember. ‘Sure. Why not. Let’s comm. the slaggin’ mystery bot and see what happens,’ he was already scolding himself internally at how stupid this probably was, but ‘Frag it.’
<<Certainly an interesting turn of events>> Deadlock mumbled, <<This is Decepticon unit… oh the number doesn’t matter to you…. Second-in-Command Deadlock>>
<<State your name and designation and this little chat can continue>>
Thank you hun.
