Mensahbot September is a casual laidback prompt event about having fun with the undefinable relationship that is Mensah and Murderbot.

There's a a lot of variety of options and if you don't see something you would like to see, feel free to submit your own! You have until 1 August 2026 and then prompts will close and we will be in the creation period for August and September!

(New rule, because I don't want anyone to feel pressured or rushed, this is casual event!)

Prompts around making art, music, videos, anything you want are also welcome. Feel free to double-up with any of the many other events running in this time, check out @murderbotfandomevents for a calendar.

Post-PD, Mensah notes Murderbot wearing the clothing of her home planet, which she finds incredibly endearing.

Stasis by dooplissss

Murderbot never initiates full stasis enough for its health and ART knows this. During a trip, Murderbot feels so safe and comfortable in Mensah and ART's presence that it falls into stasis involuntarily. Possibly has a nightmare that they help it through if you're inclined. Ideally qpp/platonic, no nsfw. I truly could read a million fics of this one single prompt.

Mensah and/or Murderbot are under the influence of sex pollen! Or a sex virus? A sex override? Well, whatever you decide on, one of them is under the influence!

I went to a Q&A with Martha Wells last night and asked 'Has Murderbot ever smiled?' and she said it does in private, not so much at people.

As a now former Murderbot-never-smiles truther, I couldn't be happier to have my headcanon disproven :')

Detective Mensah is on a new case following the murder of a high-profile politician. She's stymied by the entrance of a mysterious ComfortUnit that seems more dangerous than meets the eye. And why does it seem like the ship itself just happens to glitch at the right times? All eyes are on her, can she reveal the secrets of the Perihelion before time runs out?
