I love SPN with all my heart, and the ending was perfect - EXCEPT for Cas’ death. I kinda expected him to die, but I cannot get over the fact that the writers of the show gave in to the fandom’s pathetic shipping of Dean and Castiel. They are friends, of course, but IN LOVE?? WTF?! I never saw anything like that between those two and I just...can’t believe the fandom had such an influence on the writers that they would completely abandon the story just to make some of the fans happy. I hear so much about it now tho. Am I really the only one who feels like this??
