Meningococcal Vaccine
The one thing that may screw me out of my transfer
So Iāve gone through all this shit to transfer to UCM and I may be getting stopped dead by a vaccination. More specifically WHEN I got the vaccination.
UCM is stating that I have to have gotten my Meningococcal vaccine after age 16. Iām looking at my immunization records as given to me by the state health department and it says I have the MCV4. When I measure the time I got it, it was recieved two months before my 16th birthday. I donāt see why this small difference is significant.Ā
I am, and have always been, without health insurance so I wouldnāt have gotten a vaccine that late if another was needed that shortly there after, unless I absolutly needed it for some reason (which the only reason I can think of would be school, but that seems an odd time for it)
Tomorrow Iām going to be calling the school to question this difference but if they absolutly require theseĀ āupdatedā shots I may be screwed if I canāt find a place willing to give the shot for free.

i got my meningitis shot today and haven't been able to move my arm and it's been hurting since. medicine hasn't helped at all either. i was wondering if anyone else had that and how long the pain/soreness lasts? i have to drive three hours tomorrow and am wondering!Ā
