Two levels tributing Shamus Young's (RIP) Phobos - Relive the Nightmare. Think mainly of levels that leverage KDitD textures with open, nonlinear layouts and Doom II trash monsters but poised in such a way through monster selection and resources that careless play can be costly.

This is one of several Memfis PWADs that took its title from manga. In this case, it was a hentai mag. Oh, you! Anyway, Memfis loves 2002: A Doom Odyssey and this is sort of his little tribute to it by way of using some of its textures, specifically intending to evoke Joe Pallai's "Dementia" (E4M6). It's a short, fun Doom map, so give it a try if you're down for that sort of thing.

This little tribute to Icarus: Alien Vanguard uses its textures to make for a fun little techbase / planetary stroll. It doesn't really fit in the standard ICARUS format--not on a spaceship, no simulator exit, no away mission pod--but it's nice to see the resources get used to make a fun little adventure like this one. Standout encounters include a pretty big teleport ambush with Doom trash enemies as well as an arch-vile encounter that will probably be fought with the basic shotgun.

Memfis is a huge fan of classic megaWADs like Requiem and Icarus: Alien Vanguard. MM2MEM01 is a MAP01 replacement that requires you to load it on top of Memento Mori II in order to make use of its textures pack. Like some of his maps, it's a great opener level with lots of action and nothing stronger than a demon.
