If he trusts you, you could get Cas to spill just about any story about Dean. From the mundane to the embarrassing to the TRULY sappy and poetic. But one story that's made the rounds and gets requested by those who want the angel's perspective is the time the Impala almost went over the edge of a crumbling bridge.
"Two sets of screaming prayers in my ears while I'm mid-flight, so of course I was there in an instant. The car is dangling over the edge, Sam is bent almost double over the seat rest and into the back seat, and Dean is still screaming, standing on the brake pedal with both feet. I fly them both to firmer ground, and then Dean," he lifted the lapels of his trench for emphasis, "grabs me by the coat, and demands I," the trench was dropped for air quotes, "'get Baby'. I should have just flown them to Bobby's, but no. For some reason, I had to go back and retrieve the car. Which, of course, he wouldn't just let me drag or throw, because that's far too efficient. I had to hear him shout things from the road like 'put it in neutral,' and 'don't pull by the bumper,' and more nonsense until I had half the impulse to just let gravity take it."
There was a pause, and the faintest look of begrudging fondness. "Obviously, the Impala was returned to Dean intact, seeing as it's parked outside. And it's interesting, as many times as we've both almost died? I don't think he ever hugged me harder than he did the day I saved his car."
