Like, Roman was just feeling really bad one day (botched ideas, a screwed up performance or whatever else you can think of that can bruise an ego), and Virgil doesn’t really know how to respond because it’s Roman, they JUST got on actual-name basis

So he just.,., ,, nudges his phone in Roman’s direction.

On it is a quality meme (for instance, Car Salesman). And Roman stares at it forlornly for a minute like “Virgil what the h*ck” but he kind of giggles, because it’s dumb and makes no sense but by god, its amazing and zany and “why is that salesman so intent on hitting the car, Virgil? What does that mean?”

So Virgil just pulls up an entire effing folder of them. Just.,, tons of memes. There’s so many. And he scoots closer and puts his phone to where Roman can see and they scroll through increasingly odd and surreal ones, until they’re both laughing through tears, Roman’s woes all but forgotten completely (Roman already knew about Vine, but seeing the iconic ones where so many of the written memes come from just tickles him to no end)

From then on, Virgil and Ro randomly quote memes at random, from them singing “still a piece of garbage” whenever they insult each other to Ro shouting “YEET” at the top of his lungs anytime he lightly tosses something.
