â Jaden
Red. Red, his favriote color, now the most sickening shade he could imagine. Red coated his hands, turning the grass black as the soil it seeped into, dying her clothes-- Jaden quickly looked away, struggling to even breathe properly as his chest constricted. "Why--""She got between us. She made fun of you." The voice that was always there wasn't a comfort this time. "She didn't do anything! You didn't have to-- you didn't-- she wasn't--" The young boy couldn't complete his sentence, wobbling brown eyes glued to the shell of his best friend, the longest friend he had ever had. He thought they were making progress, he had thought Yubel had learned that he could love multiple people at once, that they didn't have to--"Forget, darling," Scaled, hybrid hands covered his eyes, bringing a gentle darkness to his world. Jaden didn't try to fight it, knowing that when it lifted, the whole incident would be erased from his mind like so many times before. "Forget."
Could I see Manjoume and Hokuto interact? (â´Ďď˝â)
IdontknowmuchaboutHokutososorryifthisisshortandbasedonWikipedieaâOkay kid, what the actual fuck is wrong with your hair?â Jun couldnât resist asking anymore. He had seen the freshman around the Academy, each time his eyes were drawn to the ridiculous paintbrush of purple held up by a glittery hairband. He certainly had a unique style. Hokutoâs instant reaction was a defensive rage, not even registering who it was that made the comment. âWhatâs it too ya, trash! My hair isââ His eyes widened as he looked up, angry shout breaking into a stutter. Jun glowered down at him as the boy turned pink at the ears. âY-youâre Ma-manjoume Thunder!âJun's expression became a prideful smirk. At least someone had some respect around here. His voice dripped with mockery. âThatâs my name. âWhatâs it to ya?ââ
Invite me Jack/Seto
Jack watched quietly from the doorway, Seto completely unaware he was even there, eyes flicking in the blue light of the screen and fingers moving twice as fast. âHey.âA delayed reaction, then he glanced up. His fingers didnât stop, âWhat do you want?ââGet your ass in bed. This is the fourth night running on no sleep.â Seto didnât bother to answer, going back to pretending Jack wasnât there. In a second he was lifted out of his chair and into the air, carried away from his work faster than he had time to protest.
shippy angst starters! "I don't believe in love." + hornetshipping (omigosh, I love this ship so, so much, and I'm so glad someone else does too!)

âDo you believe in love?â
I donât believe in love. That is a fact. Love by most definitions does not exist. There are no fireworks, no red string of fate, no such thing as a soulmate. Everything can be based in science, in equations: The brains release of chemicals gives illusions of love, matching percentages of personality traits increase likability, factors of attractiveness and the urge to populate are the only things that draw people togetherâ physiology can break down all these things to their most basic elements. There is no such thing as romance. And yetâŚI donât believe in love. Not the love that everyone talks about, the one where people love each other for the sake of being together. No, love is just another form of manipulation. Something to gain, something to take, something to use to get what you want. People claim love to get money, popularity, power, you name it, it doesnât matter. Itâs all a lie told to you from birth to keep you hanging on in hopes that one day maybe theyâll actually care about you, that they see you as more than a tool toâ There is no such thing as love for the sake of love. There is always something to gain, something to lose, a calculated risk⌠and yetâŚâOf course not.â Thatâs what they told themselves, over and over for years even as they drew closer, brief visits turning into long nights, soft conversations under the lamp light. Wry comments became shared looks, in tune with each others every habit and thought. There were no boundaries between them, every problem confided, every joy shared.
Those boundaries carried over to the physical. A casual touch on the arm to get attention, a slight change in expression to convey a books worth of meaning. Their nights of chatter became quiet time to share each others presence, limbs tangled, fitting together perfectly. But one night, the quiet was broken. It was Bastions turn to ask what Chazz had back in their first year, âDo you believe in love?â He stared at nothing, into the dark of the room, he didnât want to see Chazzâs reaction. The ex-Obeliskâs body language was enough. Pressed so snugly together, he could fell him tense, his breath shallow and his heart quicken. He didnât need the exact words to know what Bastion was asking. There was silence.
Bastion had never asked anything if him, never wanted anything other than his company. He had no motives, no agenda to fulfill. Love was not a want he now knew, not even a desire, though desire came with it. Love was content, the feeling of knowing that you already had everything you could ever need and never wanting more. Right here, right now, all the times that had come before and all the times that would come after, Chazz was for once content. He needed nothing else, nothing but the boy curled so carefully around him.
Chazz had never come out of the blue, never pushed upon him by some happenstance. They had been together since they were children, even when apart. Even when they had not spoken for years they had come back together, better than before. He had never had anyone who he enjoyed being near as much as he did Chazz. Bastion knew their were statistics, probabilities that could easily explain that.He knew that how his body reacted was nothing more than hormones, how even his better mood was a trick of his mind. But⌠Why did that have to make it any less real? Science was the explanation, not the reason. For once, Bastion did not want to think. He wanted to feel. Bastion let his heart take over, risking putting it into the bitter boys hands and not caring one bit how easy it would be for him to crush it.
The silence grew thicker, but not uncomfortable. Bastions held his breath as Chazz drew his own. âI⌠I think I do.âÂ
There was no doves, no cupids, no rays of light shining down miraculously at the confession. In fact nothing changed, nothing but Bastions soft smile under a sliver of moonlight. Chazz found that he preferred that over any sappy theatrics. His words were soft and simple, barley causing a stir in the air, but Chazz found himself baited on every word like it was a tidal wave. âI think I do too.âAnd it didnât change a thing. How could it, when they had been in love since the moment they met?

â Jack Chazz
"Jaaaack..."Said man jumped, scrambling for the remote, slamming the power button off before Chazz could see what was on the tv. He was about to snap, but caught himself. The little boy was cowering, half-hidden behind the door frame. The contrast of light from the hall and the darkness of Jacks room made it hard for him to see his little brothers face, but he could tell something was wrong. "H-hey kid, why are you up this late?" "I don't want to go back..." His tiny voice trembled, breaking into a squeak. He was having nightmares again.Jack studied Chazz for a moment, suddenly reminded of how Martha would comfort him when the wind howled through the orphanage walls. He stepped off the bed, scooping Chazz close to his chest. Chazz clung to him, tiny fists crumpling Jacks tank top. "Dont make me go..."Careful not to crush him, Jack laid on the bed, pulling the heavy blankets up over both their heads. Chazz made a questioning noise as Jack pulled out his phone, bright screen illuminating the little cave. Very grimly, Jack said. "Now you're stuck."Chazzs eyes were wide, big grey iris's reflecting the light like little stars as he broke into a giggle. "Nooo! That's not what I meant! Lemme out!""Nope." Jacks stoic face broke into a grin as he tickled Chazz, deep laughs combining with the boys high-pitched giggles and joyful screams. "You can't escape the tickle monster! Muhahahaaa!" Jack pulled his best dramatic voice, making Chazz laugh and clap. Jack sighed softly when Chazz finally calmed down enough to sleep. Chaz's head rested on his shoulder, Jacks arm curled protectively around his frame. Closing his eyes, Jack smiled. They would be okay.
â Seto x Chazz
Chazz struggled as he was dunked under the foamy water yet again, rough hands clutching fistfuls of his dark hair. When his tormentor dragged him back to the surface, he struggled to breath, nose clogged by heavy fumes, contaminated water pouring into his lungs. Acid was dripped onto his scalp, claws rubbing it deeper into his skin. Chazz thrashed screaming in agony--"Stop squirming, brat! I'm not letting you walk around the house smelling like a dead fish!"Sinking down to his nose in the bubble bath, a six year old Chazz Princeton glowered as Seto scrubbed him clean, hating every minute of it.
â Jack x Seto
"Yesssss.... A little to the left.... Right there!""You're acting like a mutt.""I am nothing like that Wheeler guy. How dare you--""Loud, blonde, brash, talks with fists, struggles with money, sibling issues---""Shut up and keep scratching."
