The first time I went to Burwell for the music summer school, I was in Andy Cutting's mixed band (with violins, flutes, whistles and guitars). I stood next to him and we played this as part of our set.
When we were finished I went outside to phone my wife and cried. It was one of the most beautiful moments of my life.

we got ourselves a melodeon! aka irish button accordion - cannot wait to learn this and play lots of Irish folk (and possibly Bach) managed to sell an instrument we'd had for a while but couldn't play due to neurological nonsense, so this is a real treat, we have a head full of decades of Irish (and other) folk music we love and will love to play
