Vacation ideas: who decides them? Where would they go, if anywhere?
Melidoria will be planning them, thanks very much.  There are just so many options!  A nice cottage in Winterspring, maybe a cruise, maybe something adventurous like mountain clim- no.  No, actually, not that.  But sheâd want them to stay at a nice hotel/resort/spa/whatever where they could essentially just be lazy but away from home.  Balor would grumble about what a waste of money and time it would be until she found ways to convince him to come around to her way of thinking.  Even so, I think heâd manage to trick her into getting out of the hotel and doing something fun and sheâd complain but then genuinely enjoy herself.
Favourite romantic gestures during sex/orgasm?
I donât know that âduring sexâ is necessarily a romantic time for either of them. Â Typically, given the way their relationship started and the way itâs been tracking, I think âHe/She called out the correct name during orgasmâ is pretty romantic! Â Though I think a lot of eye contact would be nice and I can see her trying things like lighting a bunch of candles or him finding rose petals to sprinkle on the bed beforehand or something. Â I like to think they broke in their Draenor encampment with him carrying her across the threshold.

There was a satisfying whump as they both fell back on the mattress, sweaty and spent.  âOh gods,â he groaned, âMarry me.â
She laughed. Â It was a breathless chuckle that escaped before she even thought about it. Â Heâd made a joke, she found it funny, so she laughed.
"Yeah, sure," she said airily, "Weâll send fancy engraved invitations to everyone we know." Â She curled up against his side, drawing a sheet haphazardly over them as she settled in under his arm and draped herself against his chest. Â "Iâll ask your neices to be my maids of honor." Â She kissed his neck, then nipped it playfully. Â "Maybe your old CO can give me away."
She was still grinning as she settled in against his shoulder, head resting on a pillow of slightly sweaty blonde hair which he stroked until she fell asleep. Â Melidoria dozed peacefully and Balor lay on his back staring up at the roof of their tent, struggling to keep his breathing level.
Does your character(s) have a favorite mount? If so what is it and what does it look like? Does the mount have a story?
Ersbetâs favorite âmountâ is probably her rocket. Â She won it in an extremely lucky hand of poker. Â She felt sort of bad about winning it and later bought a bike from the same person who lost the rocket for her and pays them for any repairs/maintenance since sheâs not exactly a mechanical whiz. Â She also uses her Argent Charger or Hippogryph in places where using one wonât get people to look at her weird.
Melidoriaâs favorite mount is her Celestial Steed that her father gave her after being told by the breeder that it was âUnique! One of a kind!â (sidebar: litigations are still ongoing seeing as how this claim turned out to be patently untrue) and therefore special enough for his princess. Â Itâs a fairly inbred and stupid animal but remarkably loyal. Â She was forced to leave it behind when she left for Draenor and had to take something less flashy. Â (Ashes was immediately vetoed.) Â She currently uses her Zhevra, though more often than not she rides the sidecar of Balorâs bike.
Cassildaâs felsteed serves her well. Â She still uses the one she first summoned, rather than the fancier, more advanced model. Â She rides bareback and FAST and enjoys riding across Tanaris leaving glass horseshoes in the sand in her wake. Â She will never admit to having named the animal but she calls it Hastur. Â (I use the Horsemanâs mount when I have to fly, but in my mind itâs all the same animal.) Â When sheâs not being a warlock, she either rents a hawkstrider or walks so as not to draw attention.
Yuliia has a blue-green Hawkstrider that she named Mr. Feathers. Â Mr. Feathers is a cranky, ornery bird who hates everything except for Yuliia whom he barely tolerates. Â She thinks heâs wonderful, though, and enjoys taking him out for walks even though he tends to have erratic speed issues and tries to peck her occasionally.
I havenât given too much thought to other characters. Â I think my Draenei will ride Talbuks because theyâre so damn cool looking. Â It should be noted that from an out of character perspective, all of my characters ride the Water Strider in Draenor except for Cassilda who has Glyph of Nightmare.
It was the dead of night when the stable door creaked open. Â There was a stamping of hooves, scratching of claws and rustle of feathers, but for the most part the animals were still asleep. Â Two figures were visible in the doorway: the woman was slender, clad in robes that covered her hair and some of her figure - the man beside her loomed in heavy plate armor.
The woman sighed. Â "I don't know which one to take!" Â Her voice was a hushed whisper.
The woman moved in from the doorway, padding quietly through the stalls. Â There was the sound of a latch being drawn and then hoofsteps on the hay-strewn floor. Â When she returned to the door, she was leading a brilliant winged stallion that seemed to be made of stars that glowed luminously from within. Â She was stroking the side of its neck lovingly but the hose paid no mind and simply tossed its mane, staring about with vaguely stupid eyes.
âWhat,â the man said, âIs that?â
âIsnât he beautiful?â She was beaming with pride. Â âDaddy got him for me, heâs from a special breeder in Thunder Bluf and-â
âNo.â
âWhat? Â Why not?â Â She looked dangerously close to stamping a foot.
âWeâre trying to keep a low profile.â
âI can keep a low profile.â
âItâs made of glitter.â
She saw that there was no arguing and led the horse back to the stable, whispering words of comfort and assurance that she would come back for it one day. Â The next mount she led out was also followed by the sound of hooves and the man relaxed, assuming that sheâd brougn some form of sensible steed.
Instead, she led a Zhevra from the plains: its black and white striped body had been brushed to a gleam and its large horn was polished to a shine. Â It wore a fine saddle and she smiled with pride at her choice.
The man sighed. Â âNo.â
âWh- Why not? Â Itâs not sparkly AT ALL.â
âItâs got a horn, itâs going to stick out.â
âWeâre going to an alien world, who knows what theyâll have over there?â
âNO.â
She grumbled as she led it back this time. Â She was gone for longer and when she came back, she was riding astride a gleaming bird made of fire that burned with enough light to illuminate the entire stable from the floor to the towering rafters. Â She tugged its reins and it did a loop in the stable, leaving a vast glowing trail of searing orange and violent pink. Â It hovered with flapping wings and she peered down at the man from her position above him.
He sighed. Â âTake the Zhevra.â
And so that was the beast that she led out of the stable before closing the door behind them. Â She tore a portal in space and the man took the bags through it, grumbling as he led the Zhevra by the reins. Â The woman looked back at the fine estate where her father and stepmother and husband-to-be were all sound asleep. Â She thought of the note sheâd left in her room after packing her bags and how it didnât seem to be enough - not nearly.
Melidoria drew the drab grey hood over her head, hiding her blonde hair away. Â Then she turned and moved through the portal without another look back.
A package arrives at the estate shared by Firewing and Duskflame, addressed in an all-too-familiar Thalassian to Astoreth Duskflame-Firewing. The text on the box is crude for a sinâdorei hand, but itâs always been crude.
Inside is a simply folded letter of Balor Redgazeâs inelegent handwriting, and an envelope with Cearalaithâs name in thin, delicate script - like the invitation to a colorful gala. That letter is closed with a dollup of wax and no seal. These items rest on the pristine, folded canvas of a black and red tabard.Â
The first letter reads:
Astoreth,
Iâm sorry this has to come to you in writing. Itâs been too long since weâve seen each other, and I wouldâve liked to do this in person. I am all too aware of our historyâs rocky shore and of the distance you put in the word âuncleâ. Nevertheless, you are among the most important people in the world to me; you deserve better than a missive.
Unfortunately, there isnât a choice. Youâll get over it. Youâre cast in fires hotter than a social faux pas can dim. Youâll know, when you read this, there is no disrespect intended. I have never been shy about disrespect.
Anyway, I am not interested in drawing this out:
When dawn creeps over the mountains in the south of the Eastern Kingdom, I will have been through the red portal for hours. There is no expectation of return. My choices are limited in this matter. I wish I could tell you more. Only know that there is someone very important to me watching my back, and we will do our damnedest to leave a mark on whatever lies beyond. (She says she knew you in school, which is cause for some concern.)
Take care of your sister. Your farstrider. Your family.
I trust you will make sure the tabard is given to Stavier. As far as Iâm concerned, heâs the only one worthy of wearing one.
On Cearalaithâs birthday, make sure she gets the enclosed letter. I havenât missed a year yet. You know she canât be aware of its origin.
Despite my better judgement: I love you, niece. Take care.
 Sincerely,
Balor Redgaze
There second letter is, as it always is, a simple poem:

Melidoria: "There's nothing beneath this sign." aggressively red lipstick on a tailor-made sheet of jeweler's platinum, bedazzled with enough rare stone to be worth the total GDP of the Eastern Kingdoms.
(A bodypart I dislike) "What, you mean one of mine?"  She laughs and shakes her head.  "Please, anything I didn't like I would have long ago corrected.  Alchemy, hel-lo." She tosses her hair over her shoulder airily.  "Not that I've ever had to have an actual work done, of course: fortunately, I was born this perfect."
"I once dyed it red for a party -Â temporarily of course. Â Unfortunately, it left some residue and that's why I was forced to buy bleach. Â My hair is naturally this light, of course."
Spoiler: Mel bleaches her hair to be extra blonde, her natural shade is closer to Ersbet's dirty blonde.
