But what did he give Eredin? Access to family or friends? Can't only the King or queen permit that?
Power of a mage? Eredin never asks to be a mage in training?
He certain didn't ask for jewels, money or riches bc then he could deal with the merchant issue himself so what did Eredin ask him for? When they were plotting together, what did Balor give him that he could not get from his bosses [The Royalty?]
I think Balor and Eredin were more than just "Partners in crime"
