Hi there! Just wanted to drop a quick thank you for transcribing the Baccano commentaries [hopefully you'll manage to finish the other 3-?4?- as well, but thank you for your effort either way!]. Literally the only reason I felt like I had to buy the DVDs instead of the Blu-Rays was this, so it's a huge relief to know that I don't have to anymore. On another note, your Baccano posts are all remarkably insightful and fun, so thank you for that as well and have a great day! ^_^

And thank you for the lovely sentiments regarding the transcriptions. I’m very pleased to hear someone’s gotten something from the transcription of the episode four commentary, and I definitely plan on transcribing the rest–in fact, I’ve had two pages worth of transcribing done for episode seven sitting in my documents folder for some time now, which I’ll hopefully have finished and published on Tumblr come January.
(Unfortunately, my copy of disc 2 (which episode 7 is on) is back in my student flat in the UK, and I’m back home in America for the holidays, with…the rest of the DVDs, which I could try and transcribe in the meantime, come to think of it–why is one of the discs separated from the rest, you ask? Ha-ha! Wouldn’t you like to know? …Let’s just say I’m an idiot).
Hm. Well, that’s an embarrassingly late realization on my part. There’s no reason I can’t work on transcribing the commentaries for episodes 9 and 15 in lieu of the temporarily absent episode 7 disc. I could aim to get at least one of them done before break’s end, if not both. If you don’t mind the jumbled release order, of course.
…which reminds me, I need to get a move on on my Baccano! Secret Santa gifts. I nearly forgot I’m actually taking part in that tumblr event. Oh boy.

8 The thing you’re most proud of
i say my most proud moment would have to be attending my first red carpet premiere for one of the (no budget independent) films I made. We had it at a big theater and packed the house and everyone enjoyed the film. Wasn’t my best work, but it made me feel like I really accomplished something.
