Does this count as a ship
I'm actually a dumbass. Only seconds ago did I realize why Darkwing called his bike the Ratcatcher.
Because Megavolt, his very first villain, is a rat.
As a Dakrvolt shipper I'm losing my mind. There is so much potential for this ship. Even non-romantically. We need more Darkwing/Megavolt early days!
Heathers got me even more- lol

Been a while since I last did anything for Oardivia. This guy has been bouncing around in my head for a while now. Amongst a few other characters 💀
His name is currently Megawing and he’s one of Cutlass’ heavy hitters. His altmode is a humpback whale. He used to be a chill dude before joining the crime lord, but struggled to look after both himself and his now estranged younger brother, Pilot. Now he’s a quiet murder machine.
Positive Charge Part 2
Moonrise! I’m super angry right now because my draft for this didn’t save and now I have to re-write it. I want to cry. So please like and comment because it would make that waste of time worth it. Sorry if this is short. I made it longer but figured I’d only re-write the second half. Tw: Cringe, bullying, language.
Elmo doodled in his notebook during class. It wasn’t that Ms. Merryfeather’s class was boring. But Elmo’s brain couldn’t focus right now. Not when Drake sat so close to him. He wasn’t sure when it had happened. But he’d developed a huge crush on him. He couldn’t help staring. He couldn’t help drawing hearts around his name.
He needed to do something with his hands. Other than taking notes. And Drake was right there. How was he expected to focus when he had that passion in his eyes? During English class, he always got so insanely passionate. He’d focus on the lesson and get stuck with it. During English, all his thoughts were intense and bold. He always was.
Why did he like him again?
Drake Mallard was… spirited. That was one word. He was weird. The target of so much bullying. He was too much sometimes. He was obnoxious. But he was chivalrous. He always kept fighting. When their bullies would try and get to them, he’d fight. And he’d lose. Every day, he lost. Whether it be a verbal smackdown or a brawl, he lost. But he always got up and dealt with it. He came back the next day ready to fight and how jealous Elmo was. He may have been a dweeb, but he was strong. He tried to be something. Drake didn’t curl up and hide in the back. Drake stood up and went to the front. And because he didn’t know when to quit or shut his beak or take his time, he was a loser. In fact, the only person in the school who was a bigger loser was Elmo Sputterspark himself.
When the bell rang, Elmo went to gather his things. He knocked his notebook off his desk. His breath hitched as he reached for it. Luckily, when it fell, it closed. He didn’t need anyone seeing the pages with Drake’s name surrounded by hearts.
Another hand beat him to the book. Elmo looked up in fright as Preena stood there, holding his notebook. “What’s this, Elmo? Your diary?” she asked.
Elmo sputtered his response, so it didn’t come out quite right. No, it wasn’t. But it was private now that he’d filled it with his crush. “Can I please have it back?” he asked, scooping up the rest of his supplies.
“Well, since you asked nicely,” Preena said sweetly, going to hand him the notebook, but using it to smack the other books and pencils out of his hand. Elmo fell to his knees to pick up everything that Preena had made him drop.
“Let’s see what’s in your diary, Tickle-Me-Elmo,” she said, ready to open it. Elmo held his arms over his head. This was the part where she laughed and showed Drake so he’d be humiliated. His life might as well be over. He’d have to run away and start living in the abandoned lighthouse.
“Not so fast, Preena!”
Elmo peeked up to see Drake himself standing by Preena, holding her arm. He had her by the wrist, slightly twisted, with his thumb pressed down seemingly hard.
“Hey, let me go, dweeb!” she said, trying to pull away. Drake pressed his thumb down harder, making her whimper.
“Ah-ah-ah,~” Drake said, shaking his head. “You didn’t ask nicely.” He grabbed Elmo’s notebook and pulled it out of her grasp, handing it to its proper owner.
“What do you think you’re doing to my girlfriend, Mallard?”
Ham String stood above Drake, scowling. The short duck looked up, suddenly letting go of Preena. “He hurt my arm, Ham!” Preena whined, showing him her wrist. “Why don’t you rough him up for me?”
Elmo could only watch helplessly as Ham punched Drake across the face and push him over his desk. Drake tried to punch back but fell backward and hit the floor on the other side of his desk.
Ham and Preena left the classroom, laughing. Elmo walked over to Drake, blushing. “H- Hey. Thanks for that,” he said quietly.
With the help of Elmo’s hand, Drake stood up. “It’s no problem,” he said with a smile. “Nothing can defeat Drake Mallard!”
Elmo frowned a bit. “But he just beat you up…” he pointed out.
Drake blushed a bit but laughed it off. “I was simply feigning weakness in order to lure my adversary into a false sense of victory.” He wiped off his striped pants. “No matter how many battles I lose, I have a chance to win the war!”
… Maybe Drake was delusional.
Elmo sighed, looking towards the door. “You uh- Good luck with that,” he said. “I should get going. Physics next period.”
Drake nodded. “Ah, yep yep yep. I’ll see you around, Elmo,” he said, giving a warm smile and a wave. Oh. Drake knew his name.
As Drake walked out, Elmo stared with a growing blush.
He liked him.
He really liked him.
He was damn near in love with that dweeb.
That duck had it all. He was cute. He was brave. He was so clever and witty. He was genuinely kind.
He wished he was like that. He wished he was brave. He wished he was strong. He wished he was as stubborn as his crush. Maybe then he’d have a chance.
Elmo walked out, going to his next class, still in a daze. He wished he’d gotten his number while they were alone, or said anything more. A simple compliment or comment on him. He had a huge ego. Something like that would have put a little piece of Elmo in his mind. And maybe Drake would talk to him again. Maybe that would have been enough to give him a chance.
But alas, here he was in physics, doomed to go about his day hiding once again.
The rat’s in love and he doesn’t know what to do. But that’s okay! Because another chapter will come out in a few days. Please like and comment to let me know what you think and encourage me to keep going. Farewell, best of luck, avoid roasted cabbages, don’t eat earwax, and look on the bright side of life!Moonset!
