Apparently, MegaHobby Expo 2022 is going on right now. Same day as WonHobby Gallery 2022 Autumn.
But it's mostly static scale figures, so I won't be browsing through it as thoroughly.

Mega Hobby Expo 2018 Autumn Highlights:
There is no way in hell I am talking about Mega Hobby Expo without mentioning this amazing announcement. Megahouse totally blew it out of the park with this one. And while I do not think it will be a piece that will fit my collection literally, as the figures form the Precious G.E.M. line are all kind of massive in sizes, there is still no harm done in feeling joy from the fact that we get to see more Fullmetal Alchemist figures.
There is also the small thing that the concept of this sculpt is kind of similar to Kotobukiya’s ARTFX J figure, tho in bigger scale, and I already have that one, so I do not plan on getting another one.
Mega Hobby Expo 2018 Autumn Highlights:
If the previous post was kind of a let down on the final stage, this one is a vivid example for the other way around, where you don’t feel as excited or you don’t even care about a certain figure until you see the final painted prototype and suddenly change your mind. That is the case with Alter’s Velvet from Tales of Berseria.
Tales of Berseria is a game I am yet to play. The things I know about it are only based on the few scenes in the Tales of Zestiria anime series, but despite that Velvet has always looked like a super badass character to me. In fact the only reason for me to actually buy the game were those few scenes and I am looking forward to get play it. And while Koto’s version of this character is quite good I never particularly felt the urge or need to have her in my collection. Alter’s on the other hand... The dynamic pose, her hair, even her stern expression and the fact that she will be coming with the option to change her “demon“ hand, without paying extra (hopefully) is just great! I guess I never knew I need this figure in my life until I saw this. Hah!
Mega Hobby Expo 2018 Autumn Highlights:
I LOVE Persona 5!! And the Persona 5 protagonist is my most favorite one out of the bunch! (A fact I have mentioned more than once!) Koto, finally decided to reveal the painted prototype of his “Dance“ Version and... After all the excitement I feel kind of confused, and may be a bit let down. I went through every possible picture I could find, and his face looks good in some angles, but not so good on others... and I am just confused, because I can’t decide if I like him or not. Morgana is still awesome! And the colors look good, but his face... I am not so sure I like it that much anymore... And yeah... It just feels kind of disheartening when you look forward to a figure for so long and the prototype finally reaches the last stage and things start to kinda collapse there...
I will still wait to see the final, final prototypes, but... Koto, this is kind of a let down at this point!
