Have you heard about “Jackie Chan Adventures”? Oh that was my jam back when I was a kid. Huge mega fan. This cartoon had a group of villains known as the “Demon Sorcerers”, eight magic-practicing demons that each embodied one of the elements of the Chinese Bagua/Pakua (thunder, wind, water, earth, etc...). One of them was the demon of the Mountain, and as a result was a huge mountain-sized demon that had a matching appetite and constantly thought about eating (imagine Godzilla, but female and obese). 

In the last season of the show, the threat is the “demon chi”. You see, each of those eight evil demons left a part of their “chi” (evil magical energy) in our world, and people that come in contact with it become possessed by the demon’s evil, creating physical and psychic transformations. The chi of the mountain demon goes to one of the main protagonists, a former sumo wrestler forced to go on a diet. The chi actually gives the wrestler the ravenous appetite of the Mountain Demon (and her ability to devour everything and anything), and the more he eats the bigger and larger he gets until he reaches the demon’s original size (aka the size of a mountain). One of the villains tries to get the chi, and I was always sad that he never got to actually briefly own it - I would have loved to see what he would have looked like with it (in fact it might be a commission idea... I’ll have to keep it in my commission list, if anyone wants to draw obese dragon-men :p).
