Hmmmm. Im not sure. I have a feeling that Medraut would understand his feelings first but wouldn’t act on them. His feelings I think stem from them being so alike. Boht have a sense of ruthlessness to them. Both are also disinherited and not favored by their family for arbitrary and out of their control reasons (Medraut can't control the nature of his birth and Goewin can't help the fact that she was born female). This is why I think he is drawn to Goewin in TWP and supports her. No one did for him.

Maybe he would realize his feelings for Goewin and then distance himself from her. Goewin would of course be angry and irritated by this. I imagine she’d confront him about the change in his behavior. Medraut would try to slither out of giving her a direct answer but also not lie to her which would infuriate Goewin even more.

I think my issue is trying to understand how Goewin would consider and handle her feelings for Medraut. I don’t think she would immediately recognize her feelings as desire or romantic. But she would have to be the one to initiate something. I could imagine a scene where they were both out hunting together and Goewin touches Medraut on the arm or kisses him spontaneously. She would not completely understand herself or her feelings; it would not be calculated or thought out. It would also freak both of them out. They would be weird and awkward around each other, especially when they are alone. One of them would rush out of the room as soon as they realized they are alone together.

I am not sure how but Goewin would understand her feelings and accept them. Maybe she would decide it didn't matter that Medraut was her brother because he is one of the few people who is like her and who completely understands her position. She would confront Medraut and initiate something again. She would have to tell him that it is okay and that she wants this. Then I could see Medraut allowing himself to give in to his feelings. But he would still hesitate and Goewin would have to be the one to reassure him. He doesn't want to be his mother.

Lleu already has a hard time understanding Medraut’s trauma with Morgasue. He doesn’t necessarily comprehend fully what Medraut has been through with her. He knows he was hurt by her but he has a difficult time grasping that what Medraut has done to him, he also endured by Morgause. This is due to his own trauma with Medraut and also Medraut’s inability to fully speak about what has happened to him.

I respect medwin, I really do. But I cannot see Medraut in FC doing that.

However, if Medraut did leave Lleu for Goewin, I think Lleu would kill him. He'd track him down to wherever he was and kill him. No delight in the torture, just pure murder. Lleu can deal with whatever is going on between him and Medraut but to involve Goewin into it, I think would cause him to truly be able to kill Medraut once and for all. Even if Goewin was fully in love with Medraut and an active participate, Lleu would kill him. Burn down Medraut's house, kill whoever was in his way, whatever he has to do to kill Medraut, he will. FC! Lleu will not allow his sister to be dragged into whatever weird psycho-sexual games Medraut and Lleu have going on.

I also do think Lleu would betray Goewin and have her sent away. I don't think he could hurt her on purpose, but I think he would have her sent to the Orcades or married to someone outside of Britain (perhaps married to someone in Brittany). That would hurt Goewin because he does know it's her biggest fear and the thing he was suppose to protect her from. But he is a jealous and insecure person, this would lead him to act out. Not to mention, the fact that Goewin was with Medraut would be too much for him to deal with on a daily basis. She would have to be sent away so he doesn't have to see her anymore.
