I took a short break from social media this last weekend to take a step back, analyze my mentality, and just actually enjoy a weekend with people I cared about. It was really nice to not feel attached to my phone. I quickly feel during the work/school week that I have a dependency on my tech for a various list of outlets that are for school, or personal reflection/entertainment/medium for creativity. Hyperfocusing on something outside of yourself for long periods of time can wear heavily on your mentality. There is a lot of very good reasons why we all need to take a moment to step back, not care where your phone is, and just pay attention to what your space feels like, what your body feels like, and reflect on the internal ticking clocks that keep you running. Today I feel inspired to build my recent positive changes even farther that I've already dedicated I the last few months and begin to focus on getting my physical health on track again, and start with a commitment to exercise to get those very valuable endorphins going and hormonal balance achieved. I will definitely be also sharing this portion of my journey on this platform, because this place will be one that includes many facets that build towards a holistic life. #photography #personalthought #personalblog #health #mediacleanse #phoneuse #positivity #foodforthought #artstudent #plantlife #plantphotography https://www.instagram.com/p/Bw3mDPtA-S4/?utm_source=ig_tumblr_share&igshid=1et6n2ode7r70
