Medabots! [Affinity for Proxies]
Artist Credit: Type_CKW
I have been working on making proxies for my Affinity deck for modern. I want each copy of each card to be unique in the deck, so even though the deck runs 4x Memnite, there will be only one Metabee in it!

So, what if Pokemon Characters were in Medabots?
I feel a little bad not giving Ethan some kind of interesting outfit or anything to fit Medabots' aesthetic, but I'd argue they already fit. Though I guess I could have done like this one artist did and put him in a school uniform or something...
Anyway, I thought it'd be fun to draw more robots and since Medabots is a big influence on how I design my own bots, I thought I'd try and design my own and base them off of Pokemon the characters use.
And Meganium was...a PAINFUL choice...
Meganium doesn't have a human-shape design like Lucario or Hitmonchan or even Garchomp. So I leaned into its stats and designed a sort-of bulky, armored bot with a shield. Probably can pull some Captain American shenanigans with some advance calculations going on in its head. I'm sure some would think a Medabot with no guns or anything is at a severe disadvantage, but that confidence quickly vanishes when Shielder races through the bullets and punches their lights out.
Though, in hindsight, maybe I should've used the flower frill as the design for the shield or something.
