How is calling a gay person a queer okay, but misgendering isn’t? Why can’t you just respect people’s identities? If someone’s uncomfortable with you calling them a queer, you should stop. Doing otherwise is just regular old bigotry.

I've never called anyone queer who doesn't explicitly choose to identify themselves as queer.
