Nobody’s perfect… literally one of the stories that could evoke such emotion in me. First questions genuinely why would johnny do that to reader even though he was saying all that stuff that he wanted to marry her and that she was the one for him?? (makes me heart ache thinking about poor reader) Second one how would the death option at the end of the story when price gave her the choices, how would that ending have played out?? I’m so curious, great story btw

Why would Johnny do that? - Johnny did that because he self compartmentalized to the extreme. When he was first getting together with Reader, he was already with his team and had been for years. He told his team that he likes another, and will introduce everyone, EVENTUALLY. And NOBODY. Likes. That. So, in order to keep his team, and current relationship happy, he decides to sleep with others who remind him of Reader with his team, so they can see what he sees. And the 141 doesn't care who they are sleeping with, as long as Johnny knows who he belongs to and if he keeps his promise with introducing his two relationships together. Johnny truly cared about Reader, but he had prior obligations and he had to keep them happy. Johnny cared about Reader so much that he kept holding off on telling them about his poly relationship in fear that Reader would freak out and leave. And Johnny couldn't have that. He NEEDS his cake and needs to eat it too.
Death Option, what does that look like? - Great question! At this point, Price was not serious about killing Reader. Not when they finally got to this point where Reader was dragged back, with a dead body and out of options. This is perfect. Price, Kyle and Simon has been waiting for years to finally get a hold of Reader and be able to share Johnny together, and finally see the thing that has enchanted their Johnny for the last few years. But Price is really mad. He's upset that you did kill someone that was attached to his boys and it could threaten them with the law. If (when) you try to leave, Price will keep you locked away for months, breaking your mind down until you're dust. Until you're begging to be around them, to not be alone anymore. Price cares about his men, his loves, more than can be spoken. He doesn't mess around with their safety, and nobody can change that. Not even you. For fun, IF Price did decide to kill Reader, he might have Johnny do it. If you wait for years to introduce your partner to your poly relationship, and then bring them back to the only safe space Price has, with a dead body attached and Reader is desperate to go to the police, Price would command Johnny to "take care of it". He wants Johnny to strangle you. And when you freak out at Johnny and say you'll lock him up too, he's happy to suffocate you and they'll give your bodies to the pigs.
Price makes Johnny promise that if he likes someone, he'll tell Price before making any decision. After throwing your arm to the pigs, he happily agrees.
