Alice: gud to hear hon, your dad and clancy are gonna be coming along soon, don’t ya worry

Tessa pops out of nowhere

Tessa: dad’s comin-

Tessa take a hand to her mouth, covering it, very embarrassed

Alice, lizzy, and cricket smile knowingly

Cricket: O le a ou ta'u atu ia Clancy na e fai mai lena mea (I am gonna tell clancy you said that)

Tessa: Faamolemole leai (Please no)

She shakes her head, blushing from embarrassment

Tessa: Ou te fia taʻu atu ia te ia pe a ou lagona le sauni (I want to tell him when I feel ready)

And now yes, this is where I reveal even info about the Actin in the life AU!

Specifically about clancy and his gang in this AU

Cricket here is around Tessa’s own age, due to timeline stuff, this universe had them growing up parallel to each other, and after the (expected) death of her parents, there was a few years where she needed someone to watch over her as she was still technically a kid, clancy, took up this offer, especially when hearing about her story, it felt…familiar to him, all too familiar, and her drones? Took them all under his wing! Hanna and Clancy ended up filling the parental void that had always been there for tessa in this au, and were very happy to hear how well the web series got perceived.

And yes, tessa may have studied samoan to talk with ford and cricket

Brick was very surprised to get a younger sibling of sorts, but they are as thick as theives nowadays, brick will deck your ass if you mess with his fellow adoptive sis.

Zay and Den may have been the reason N got a bit of a silly streak in him

Roadhouse actually helped J find her own style and be confident with herself, she was the one who co-ordinated the gave her the confidence to ask tessa out

V just felt safe, she knew she could read a book and not be interrupted, clancy even got her a book as a gift :3

Vlad and cyn are best buds, a bit of a younger brother and older sister dynamic to them, cyn often sneaks him red mints specifically due to his name

Tessa may have cried on her first combo Christmas and Hanukkah with hanna and clancy, her wishlist actually was looked at and she couldn’t believe it. After all she had gone through that she had gotten what she wanted or whatever was substituted was still closely related to the presents she hoped for.

Tessa has considered changing her last name fully to clancy’s last name, and yeah, she’s ready to call him dad.

Hanna: "h-hi guys!....."

Clancy: "don't worry they won't hurt you. That's Sassy!, Ford and Cricket!, Blu, RoadHouse!"

Hanna: "is that a baby!?"

Clancy: "it is! that's little baby Cricket, youngest in the household"

Hanna: "so cute!!"

Clancy: "OH! and there's my wonderful son!"

Hanna: "son?..."

She turns around to find the BIGGEST drone she's ever seen in her entire life. He could easily stand nose to nose with her without having to stand on his tippy toes. He's just standing there with a menacing glare. He's been getting into the blackberries in the backyard and has managed to get the juices all smeared across one spot on his face. For those not aware blackberry juice has a reddish pinkish coloration to it, it looks a bit like blood. To Hanna there is a monster of a drone with blood smeared on his face and a scowl blocking the doorway.

Clancy: "This is Brick! he's a sweetie! a very good boy!"

Clancy gently pats his hand on Brick's shoulder with a smile

Hanna: "h-holy shit!...."

Clancy: "well go ahead big guy! say something! your making the poor woman quake in her boots!"

Brick slowly holds up a thumbs up with that same glare

Clancy: “Brick! Thats yours!! Your so good”

Brick: “she’s just a klutzie, how can I tell her no! Isin’t that right baby bug!”

He playfully nudges her. She nudges him back

Brick: “ah! Did you see that!?”

Clancy: “I think she might be stronger than you!”

Clancy: “Happy first Easter baby Vlad!”

Cricket darts past the camera as fast as she can. A little scamper followed by a giggle

Clancy: “oop! Theres a buggie!!”

Hanna: “go find your first egg baby boy!!”

Vlad starts snuffling his tiny snoot through the grass. He snuffles right past a bright pink plastic Easter egg sitting right there in front of him. He starts eating the bases of the fresh lush green grass

Hanna: “I don’t think he understands hahah!”

Clancy: “buddy!! You gotta get the egg!! See Cricket? See what she’s doin? You do that!”

Hanna reaches over and picks up the plastic egg. She pops it open and shows it to Vlad. Inside is two tiny chocolate eggs and half a fig, his favorite fruit.

Hanna: “look! See?”

Cricket can be seen dashing out of the kitchen with a mush of scrambled eggs clutched between her teeth and poking out past her lips. Her left hand has a fist full of scrambled eggs as well. Hanna is hot on her heals, chasing her through the house

Hanna: “NO EGGS FOR YOU!! GET BACK HERE”

Cricket starts to giggle like a little devil. She quickly jams herself under the sofa where Hanna can’t reach her.

Hanna: “GOSH DARNIT!! Ford come get your offspring!! She’s a thief!!”

He is filled with fear and anger, a large alpha type male drone. Yet! Most of the newer marks on his body are from putting his anger into protecting the house and the drones within the house. He protects Clancy Hanna with the same anger. He has fought off angry animals AND angry humans to ensure those within the house continue to have the peaceful life they were brought into. With the new additions of Cricket and Vlad his protective programming has gone into overdrive. They aren’t his kids but damnit he will protect them and play with them like they are!

Vlad’s parents and Ford trade off babysitting a lot and work together to ensure both children are raised safely and none of it was ever even agreed upon before hand, it just fell into place. Born from many caring hearts willing to help.
