Hex is probably one of the most difficult muses to create relationships with. After having his back stabbed (probably more times than we’ve seen in canon) multiple times and having been used for his magic, he will not trust a stranger. He doesn’t even trust his students. He loves teaching them, but he wouldn’t entrust them with his pencils, or with anything for that matter. 

Hex decided to become a teacher (or at least remain being one) because it’s a place where he is in control. He may have bosses but he gets full reign on how he wants to run his class. 

Hex has a lot of shit to work out still, but no matter what, he’s not going to go back to his old life. At least that’s what he’s convinced himself. 

okay here’s some fluffy romantic thoughts 

Hex identifies as a homoromantic demisexual, just so everyone knows/remembers what i made it to be 

If you had managed to get this far past his walls to get to the point where he’s in a romantic relationship, prepare to have a very caring and soft lover (some of it stemming from his need to not lose you as a romantic partner) 

prepare for hugs and kisses that last a long time and lots of hand holding if ur muse is okay with that because he’s let u into his tiny tiny circle of trust and he wants u to trust him too 

he’s gonna ask for consent a LOT 

Hex is a complete fucking mess but if u love him and he loves u back prepare for lots of love
