McGonagall: Four students out of bed in one night! I've never heard of such a thing before!

Sirius: So Professor, what would happen if you were to HYPOTHETICALLY eat chocolate in your animagus form?

AroAce McGonagall is my new favorite thing ever. Think about it, anytime one of her students *coughchildrencough* was scared of coming out or telling their friends/peers literally anything, they knew that they could turn to McGonagall, not only because she was such a mom (bc she carries around things like extra pairs of socks or pants in case something embarrassing happens, band-aids because sometimes they help you feel better, one or two fresh inhalers and extra potions bc she knows that if something happens in her class those few extra seconds before Madam Pomfrey gets there can save lives, and she carries them around in her expanded robe pockets bc even though she’s the transfiguration professor she knows somethings are better and make people feel safer hen they’re not just conjured. She probably has 10 water bottles in her desk just in case a student forgets theirs, or a spell goes wrong, or really anything, there are thousands of uses for waterbottles) but because they know that it doesn’t matter what house you’re in, or if you’re not a popular kid, she cares about you regardless. They come to her first because they know that their wellbeing always goes first, even above her own, and she basically has no gender perception, all she knows or cares about it the fact that some of her students like to look a specific way and like certain mouth noises to refer to themselves more than others. She literally doesn’t care about your gender or sexuality, she just wants you to be the best/safest/healthiest student/person that you can be. They go to her first because they know that she won’t care, she’ll love them anyway, and if anybody says anything mean or bad about you or anybody, she will go after them. She’ll give them a firm talking to, at least a half a weeks worth of detention, and after that? She’ll love them just as hard as she loves you, because even if you are rude and mean, you still deserve to be loved. People go to her first because they know that if they do they’ll feel like at least one person in the world loves them.
