i think 2026 will be the fourth year of their existence. these are the redesigns they've gone thru, the latest on the right. i think aside from colour adjustments (I'm never satisfied with the colours 💔) this is like their final design lol. it's kinda interesting to see what stayed and what changed from previous designs.

When were they the most vulnerable with each other?

The things i write about Noctis and Aeron are always changing depending on what story they're in lol.

For Aeron, probably when he confided with Noctis which more or less led to him finding out he's on the aroace spectrum. It's a bit funny to think this was still somewhat early in their friendship. Basically, Aeron's best friend since high school that he then lived with for quite some time suddenly wanted to move out with their partner, and there was some misunderstandings that lead to Aeron feeling lost and alone, and Noctis' words helped them out of it.

For Noctis, uhhh. I'm not sure when is like, the most. Whenever they visit Aeron's family and Noctis is treated as one of them i guess. if she talks about her family to him. or i guess maybe once she got used to living together and open up more to him idk
