Thinking ahead...
For two years I've offered a Prompt Challenge in May: a word provided each day, a 24 hour challenge to write a ficlet, 31 days. No penalty for those who wanted to wait and do them, or skip days, etc. Just a way to get ourselves writing.
I've enjoyed doing it, and some good stories have come out of it, as well as some fandom fun, reading each day what people did with the prompt.
However....
I have reluctantly made the decision NOT to do the May Prompts this year. Travel plans, family stuff, etc. would make it difficult.
Also, the fandom has seen a lot of prompt events over the last six months and I'm not sure we need another just now.
I might do something different this summer. Maybe a Zero Draft Challenge. If you're interested, let me know.
