Taking more inspiration from my Peonies I decided to paint one in acryla gouache. Happy Birthday • Quick Card This card was made very quickly for someone who needed a card in the next hour. I used the beautiful paper collection “Blush” from My Mind’s Eye which came out around the same time last year and practically flew off the shelves as it was based on the colour/s of the year by @pantone from the previous year. I absolutely adore this collection! For the sentiment I used a stamp from the Altenew “Halftone Stars” set and stamped it with Viva Décor Paper-Soft-Color in dark blue/indigo and clear embossed it with powder from Rayher on a piece of card that I had coloured pink with Ranger Distress Oxide Ink “Tattered Rose” which matches the pink of the paper exactly! I then cut it out with decorative scissors and fixed it on the card with foam tape along with one of the triangles that came with the patterned paper. I mounted the panel which I had also cut out with the decorative scissors on a crème card base I had coloured with the indigo Paper-Soft-Colour around the edges. The matching sequins I fixed on the card with Ranger Matte Medium are from Pretty Pink Posh “Rose Gold Sequins” and Little Things from Lucy’s Cards “Guilded Peach”.
