I copied a landscape painting I found so this is no original, but I wanted to post it since I like this particular exercise. Landscapes are methodical in their process so it's an easy starting point for learning acrylics.

An example piece for my drawing class. They are learning how to make movie posters with scratchboard so here is my made up movie: Memento Mori. (This is a latin phrase that means, "remember death").

Trying some new ideas for projects in my painting classes. I landed on designing cover art for music albums. Everyone has their music preferences and I need an example to teach with, so here is an example of a metal album cover.

With a love of book binding, I decided to make a tome dedicated to my students to mark their spot in the annual record of time. (It's a yearbook replacement to keep all of my student's signatures at the end of each school year).

Another ceramic related piece about one of my favorite video games and serves as an example in my classroom.

Turned a paint palette I got as a gift into a new clock for my classroom. Now I have a more engaging way to tell time while I teach.
