Why do I feel like something is missing ?

Making things with my hands and building community is among them

Here is the Ape mask I worked on over the holidays which developed mold because I didn’t dry it properly 😭 I used a toilet paper clay method and didn’t realize how wet all the layers would stay. Newb mistake but I learned.

Taking a painting class in my late 30s was the best decision to tap into my creative side with no expectations. Definitely recommend. Fuck what everybody else thinks. It brought me joy.

I don’t think I can capture her beautiful essence and the life she brought to every room she entered in a single portriat. It’s been very sweet to stare closely and study her face and see my grandma in her features. They are both resting now.
