High Potential: interesting concept, but I’m not sold on the execution. Will likely not have a large online fandom due to featuring a female main character. This may be a good thing.
Rescue Hi-Surf: lbr I probably am going to at least try this. It looks silly and soapy and has Arielle Kebbel. However, due to ensemble cast of hot people, likelihood for an online fandom based around an improbable m/m couple developing is high. I’m not sure I’m ready to do that again.
Matlock Reboot: well I’ve never watched the original but I do like Kathy Bates.
Brilliant Minds: Zachary Quinto! But a medical drama, not sure about that.
Murder In A Small Town: I know nothing about this except that Kristin Kreuk is in it, which is kind of a nice throwback!
Doctor Odyssey: a new Ryan Murphy, looks stupid but potentially fun. I don’t care one way or another about Joshua Jackson, which surely means people will be unhinged about him somehow.
NCIS Origins: honestly I almost certainly won’t watch this as I’ve never watched a single episode of NCIS so why watch the prequel? But NCIS is bafflingly popular, so idk, maybe I’m missing out.

The Matlocks blame the entirely wrong people for their daughter’s tragic death if they’re so focused on the evils of opioids. Matty is smart enough to know that, even if her idiot husband isn’t.
Matty’s husband a sexist jerk who claims to trust and believe in her even though he clearly blames her for their daughter’s death and questions her judgement every episode.

This show, starring the incomparable Kathy Bates, has an excellent pilot episode that you should go into blind. It sets up your expectations of the kind of show it seems like only to play with those expectations in a SPECTACULAR way.

Just saw an article that gives the proposed CBS fall schedule....The Equalizer moves to 10 pm Sunday...NCIS LA's old time slot...and the Matlock reboot will be at 9 pm on Sunday. Let's see if The Equalizer can exist the later hour or it will be the kiss of death. I consider it a little ironic that the new show co-produced by Eric's production company is going to be on Sunday night, like NCIS LA was.
