Ceci (bff): One day, one day I was really really really really really sad.

Mr. Teacher: I'm sorry to hear that.

Ceci: Did you like my Dixie D'Amelio Impression?

Mr. Teacher: Yes.

(a few minutes later)

Ceci: What do you think of Charli D'Amelio?

Mr. Teacher: I don't.

Hey so I’m a senior this year, and y’all this online schooling sucks so bad. I have never had less motivation to do things ever before in my life. My grades look like they belong in an outhouse. Throughout my life, I have always been a good student- heck, at one point I was on track to be eligible to attend Princeton! I have still been a good student, just not the best that everyone thought I was going to be. 

Nobody thought in a million years that I wouldn’t be able to graduate. Now here I am, crying in my room because I can’t get my semester exam to load and to turn it in before midnight. I’m just gonna submit what I have and just live with it. If I have to take summer school, so be it I guess. 

This pandemic has ruined everything and everyone, and I don’t know if anything will be the same again. Will there still be online schooling? Will people still be required to wear masks wherever they go? Will being social and going to parties ever become socially acceptable again? Only time will tell. 

I never planned on my senior year being like this, but again, who did? I guess we just have to deal with it and live everyday to make the best of what we are living through. Set goals, make plans, and do the actions. That’s what I’ve learned in 2020. Hopefully, 2021 will be 100x better, but even if it isn’t, I guess there will be a story to tell, right?
