As IvyZen’s resident STEM consultant, I have had numerous students who looked around and found advanced math courses at nearby colleges. Top science schools, such as MIT and Caltech, and top engineering programs, such as Carnegie Mellon and U of Illinois, look very favorably at transcripts with college level math classes.
