Cheat Sheet (Skit)
I remember gearing up for my PreCalculus final. My study squad and I were stressing. Logarithms, Quadratic Equations, Slope Formulas, Polynomial Functions, Inverse Functions, Exponential Functions, and the list of things to remember for the exam goes on. It’s so much!
But all of that was about to change. For our last class before the test, our instructor made an announcement. She said that we could write our own Cheat Sheet...one page...front to back!
She received a standing ovation. And in that moment, I knew I had to derive a video from that experience.
So here’s to Cheat Sheets.
Oh and we all passed the class 😁

MATH RAP
Learn to rap the math way! Don’t be a nerd with ur math - rap it out!
🎵 Quick Maths - The Slope Formula Rap 🎵
As you may know, I'm back in school for a Masters in Computer Science. However, my first degree is in Fine Arts. So I had to take a few math classes to catch up to speed.
Math and I had a complicated relationship in the past. As a result, I had to be a little creative in memorizing equations.
My Slope Formula Rap saved me in Pre-Calculus I, Pre-Calculus II, Calculus I, and Chemistry. And now I'm sharing it with you. I hope it comes in handy as it did (and still does) for me! This song is gives you a quick and easy way to remember the order of the slope formula and what a positive, negative, or zero slope looks like.
Enjoy!
🎶 Quick Maths - Slope Intercept Form 🎶
What’s up? What’s up? What’s up? What’s up! I’m back with another Math Rap.
Last time, I dropped rhymes on how to find the slope of a line. Now we’re going to learn how to represent a line as an equation. The name of that equation is the Slope-Intercept Form or y = mx + b.
Check out my Slope-Intercept Rap for a fun way to memorize how to use the equation. When my song pops up in your head during an exam, you can thank the powers of Rhythm And Poetry - Rap! 😁 Enjoy! 😁

🎶 Pythagorean Theorem Rap 🎶
Classes are back in session, so here’s another lyrical lesson! Last time, I dropped rhymes on representing lines with the Slope Intercept Form. Now we are going to review how to find the length of a line based its coordinates.
By applying some creativity, we can turn a line into a right triangle. When you have a right triangle, you can holla at Pythagoras to solve some problems. That good ol’ a^2 + b^2 = c^2. So come take a dive into my rhymes. Memorize Distance Formula/Pythagorean Theorem with another Quick Maths!
