Bro, just thinking about a palm springs AU:
Neil finds Andrew intriguing and kinda falls into attraction with him (through all the conversations that only he remembers)
Then he's being hunted and does a runaway, which interrupts his daily Talk with Andrew
Of course Andrew is interested in the what and the why (possibly also because Neil is gorgeous and he's had a less boring then usual conversation)
He follows him into the cave
They're both stuck in the time loop
Now they have time to get to know each other, learn some dozen languages (among them russian and ASL), start a fight club, Neil teaches Andrew everything about knives etc.
After a while Andrew kinda gets bored, has raging apathy
He climbs out of that hole through various sessions with Bee (it's okay, she won't remember them)
simultaneously Neil researches quantum physics
They also develop intricate plans to kill some people and sometimes execute them to work out all the kinks
Neil deduces how to escape the loop
The day of the wedding (the last time) Andrew talks with Aaron in private, gives his "blessing" and thanks Nicky for everything
After, Neil and Andrew fuck off and covertly kill some people (they have the skill set of badass super spies after all)
Who knows what will happen when they're finished... (Mayhaps the domestic life)
