Hmm... I have quite many fluffy feel good moments I think, but maybe my favourite one would have to be... maybe it'd be the first time he dared to be vulnerable with her. Granted that's usually the theme for my favourite fluffy moments between them (the stoic, pillar of the society man dares to be vulnerable with someone~)

Essentially he woke up from a nightmare not too long after he lost his arm, so when that trauma is still fresh, and she ends up comforting him and cuddling with him. That was one of the moments where there could have been so much sexual tension, but I felt like it was much better to write it as just genuine human connection. They had had chemistry before, and it was obvious that they were into each other, so it wasn't completely out of the left field, but it was a kind of emotional intimacy that I think just hits the spot.

Meet Marune, who is a character from my ongoing dark fantasy comic Paths of Avarnight! The are a Shindran Feleth, with mystical horns (mystery music). Has a very close relationship with Narya aka. spends a lot of time worrying about them… BUT they are not related by blood (you'll find out more eventually xD). They are slightly older than Narya, thus is allowed to grow their hair long already = are considered a young adult by Shindran standards.

“I ran away,” she blurted out, startling everyone. “I…I was raised well, in the Fire Nation. The daughter of nobles, loving parents. But…they loved me so much that they sheltered me. I knew little about the true nature of the war…until I overheard something terrible.” There was truth to this, though not in the way she told it. And to paint her parents in such a light, to call them imperalists…it was true now, but it wasn’t in her time, and it felt like slander considering how they’d raised her. She knew her history because of them, she stood by her ideals and opinions because of them…so to say, even implicitly, that they served Ozai in any capacity turned her stomach. But she had no other choice, and a partial truth was better than a total lie, so there it was.

Poor Izumi :( the general consensus among the Gaang is that Bumizumi being time-travelers is need-to-know…and everyone outside the Gaang doesn't need to know. This ofc means that Bato can’t know…hence this invented backstory. It’s mostly true…just not in the ways Izumi considers most important :(

“I-I…” this girl’s smirk was making Marina’s stomach flip inside out, and she thrust out a shaky hand to stave off the feeling. “I’m Marina.” “Well, Marina, I’m June.” She took Marina’s hand with a gentle squeeze, as warm as the month she was named for.

That’s right—for YOTP this month, I’m writing some Marina/June (or Marune, as I like to call them) :D this also serves as the first fic of the AU…though whether it’ll stay that way is anyone’s guess. Regardless, I want it to at least introduce Marina well enough and tackle her lesbian identity…and how falling for June makes her go "oh. OH” in a way that is nothing short of adorable 💞
