Enjolras: Has two cups of black coffee every single day, on Fridays he’ll have a single caramel mocha with whipped cream, vanilla syrup, chocolate chips, caramel drizzle and sprinkles. He looks forward to it all week.

Combeferre: Doesn’t drink coffee- he grew up drinking tea and can’t stand the bitter taste first thing in the morning. He’ll stick to chai until ‘coffee stops tasting how nativism feels’

Courfeyrac: Latte with honey. It’s simple, but sweet, and he has a stove top espresso maker and milk frother at home. He loves to add different syrups and flavors, but only tries them once before returning to plain honey.

Bahorel: Has a single cup of coffee with cream in the morning. He doesn't’ need a lot of caffeine-- he’s never stayed up later than 10 studying and exercise help him wake up each day.

Fuielly: Lives on coffee. Probably has 7 cups a day. Uses the cheapest, bulk bought, instant coffee he can find and adds hazelnut creamer that he makes himself.

Jehan: Doesn’t really like coffee, but when they do drink it all they have is espresso. No sugar or milk. just expresso. Courf can’t even watch them.

Joly: Depending on the latest study, he’ll drink one cup a day, or only tea, or only if it’s a light roast, or only espresso, or everything but espresso or no caffeine at all

Bosset: Whatever Joly has recently discarded as ‘not healthy’ enough. He’s not picky so long as it manages not to scald him or get on his shirt.

Grantaire: Used to drink it with whiskey, but recently has been replacing whiskey with cinnamon flavored coffee creamer. Almost always uses instant, but can name the best, cheapest coffee places in Paris without even thinking. All the baristas know his name, but he’s only ever seen with his old mug from home

Marius: Loves caramel iced coffee-- but only as a special occasion caffeine sometimes reacts badly with his anxiety meds so he doesn’t make a habit of drinking it

Cosette: Coffee with one cream, one sugar. she always buys the fancy beans.

Eponine: Loves mochas, but can never afford them. black coffee with two sugars is her go to.
