anytime I read bloodymary and grace gets deeply embarrassed from Rocky’s sex ed questions I find it absolutely hysterical bc that could not be me.
I’m the friend with the millions of zines and random knowledge on a variety of topics, but mainly sex (and the fun stuff around it) and queer history (often times my zines are about the two combined). Basic ed pamphlets, things on kink and fetish, etc etc. I’ve never not taken the opportunity to spout my knowledge when my friends suggest there is a thing they’re curious about that they know nothing about (and they’re fully aware that if they ask me I will answer them unless they state otherwise that it’s rhetorical, but that’s almost never the case bc we’re the types who like to ask people who will give us the information we want).

If you want to stay consistent ( Saturn ) you'll still need the motivation ( Mars ) to perform the task.
You wanna bulk up and got gym membership but you don't go to gym regularly you won't be able to see the results.
Also doing something like gym, yoga etc. Regularly will help you to strengthen your first house and you'll see the result in your next house which is your second house your family!
Thinking about how nox would feel about Boris being in the house the first time he saw it.
"chaseee!? What the HELL is this horse doing in your house?!?!" Nox was currently standing on the kitchen counter, absolutely flabbergasted at the sight of a horse chewing on a curtain not far away. Chase came into the kitchen looking unbothered, doing something on his phone. "Didn't I already tell you about Boris? He does that sometimes. At least it isn't clothes this time." Nox did not like that answer. "I thought you were just joking??? You actually let a horse walk around your house?! Get it out!" Nox almost looked more confused about this than he did when he found out how cheap pineapples are now. Chase sighs and leads Boris out of the house, like it's normal routine. Nox stays on the counter until he sees chase come back inside without the horse. "How does it even get in here...?" Chase pauses and thinks for a second. "I actually don't know. I thought the door was shut this time." Nox just stares at him this time then turns away shaking his head. "I need chocolate. And a nap. And horse repellant. A lot of horse repellant."
Sun, Saturn, and Mars : Our relationship with our father
I recently read an article, Saturn Return with Natal Saturn Retrograde by @first-saturn-return about individuals with Saturn in retrograde idolizing the father figure and internalizing Saturn's qualities to embody how we think an adult should act. I still have years before my Saturn return and wanted to learn how to remediate before my trial period begins ( my Saturn in retrograde returning).
I resonated with this topic and wanted tag onto it...
I have a theory that our Mars can represent how our father/father figures instilled confidence within us fueling our drive, competitive nature, survival instincts, and how we express anger from early childhood.
This is my working theory to further understand the role of the planets and our Psyche based on Freud's psychoanalytical model from the article Id, Ego, and Superego by Saul McLeod.
The Sun( Ego): how we project our energy, the essence of our relationship with our father,
Saturn( Super-Ego): the parental /authority figure, the foundation for ideal behavior
Mars( the ID) : base nature, anger, arousal, hunger/drive, what attracts us to potential partners, instilled confidence, things we observe and learn from early childhood to survive.
For example:
I have a natal Saturn in the 7th House RX
and natal Mars in Libra in the 12th House.
I idolized my father growing up because he was the absent parent, while my mom was always there for me. As a kid, when my parents fought I thought if I became the mediator that I could bring harmony and convince my parents to makeup. I learned that it's not my job as the child to mediate and it's always better for parents to separate than stay in a toxic situation.
I was estranged from my dad during my teen- early college years after acknowledging his lack of accountability and presence in my life.
I deduced that my approach to confrontation and taking action was indirect or internalized for many years. I was afraid of conflict, but always had an inner battle within me. When I would freeze or become silent in confrontation sometimes my subconscious anger I had repressed and built up would resurface and be used as my defense mechanism. Sometimes justifiable righteous anger and sometimes lashing out at the wrong time or person.
My mom moves in life with such consistent tenacity and power (Her Mars in Scorpio). She can get up and complete projects with such focus and force.
My father has ambitious charisma fueling his drive. He can be impatient and has difficulty staying consistent, if he can't see the end goal ( His Mars in Sagittarius).

despite the issues with my injury, I was able to make it out to Frozen Ray MA this weekend and participate in my first in person tournament! Had a great time playing with and talking to people. Here's a couple highlights (rabbit hole was a warm up)
something I haven't seen talked about, though I'm sure it has been, is that chris leaving was very traumatic for eddie. like he was the catalyst for chris leaving and he did make a mistake by seeking out kim, but helena and ramon swooping in and taking chris back to el paso, without checking on eddie and making sure he was ok or working to make sure eddie and chris got the help they needed. and that had an impact on eddie.
and I feel like that's why eddie was so shocked by buck breaking his lease and offering to take over his lease.
trauma can affect people in drastic ways. like eddie was raised with severe pressure from his parents, and he was/is constantly doubted for his parenting skills, has gone through one traumatic event after the other, and that adds up.
so it makes sense that he would be shocked at buck giving up his loft for him. we saw it with father brian, eddie does not believe that he deserves good things, he's probably always felt like that, but after his parents taking chris and having limited contact with his son, his self-doubt was exacerbated and his belief that he doesn't deserve good things in life was reaffirmed.
idk but buck has done these amazing things for eddie throughout the series, and eddie has obviously been grateful for them, but you can always see the way eddie is shocked that someone would go out of their way for him.
when buddie does go cannon, eddie is always going to have that lit bit of self-doubt just hanging out in the back of his brain (that definitely sounds like his parents), whispering doubt and lies in his ears/
