God Rays at Smith Rock by Mark Metternich Via Flickr: The last day of my "Best of the Northwest" (Spring) workshop. All of Oregon was getting clobbered with rain, but after studying the weather very intensively it seemed to me that the Smith Rock area had the best chance for a break of wild light. We took our chances and drove the 6.5 hours and arrived just as a torrential downpour was in effect. We jumped out of our vehicles in our rain gear, the rain stopped and we were greeted with some of the most amazing light I have witnessed at this location. I have a couple of last minute openings for my next "BEST OF THE PACIFIC NORTHWEST" (Fall) tour. If interested simply email me at: [email protected] with your request for the Free PDF brochure. Canon 11-24@24mm Sony A7R2 100ISO f/9 1/60th No filtration Single shot of 9 bracketed 0.5 stops apart in A mode. GREAT light to you, and thank you very much for looking!
