You can make a quick and tasty Instant Pot Beef and Broccoli meal in your air fryer. For a tasty Asian-inspired dish, marinated beef slices are air-fried until they are just right. They are then mixed with fresh broccoli and a savory sauce.
Ingredients: 1 lb 450g beef sirloin, thinly sliced. 1 cup 240ml beef broth. 1/2 cup 120ml soy sauce. 1/4 cup 60ml brown sugar. 2 cloves garlic, minced. 1 tsp fresh ginger, grated. 2 cups 200g broccoli florets. 1 tbsp cornstarch. 2 tbsp water. Cooking spray or oil for air frying.
Instructions: To make the marinade, mix the soy sauce, brown sugar, garlic, ginger, and beef broth in a bowl with a whisk. Put the beef slices in a container or bag that can be closed again, and pour half of the marinade over them. Put the lid on and put it in the fridge for at least 30 minutes to marinate. Get your air fryer ready by heating it up to 375F 190C. Take the beef out of the bag with the marinade and let any extra drip off. Then, put the beef in the air fryer basket that has been heated and coated with cooking spray or a thin layer of oil. For even cooking, shake the basket or flip the beef every few minutes while it's cooking in the air fryer for about 8 to 10 minutes. Change the time as needed to get the job done the way you want it. Steam the broccoli florets for about 34 minutes, or until they are soft but still crisp, while the beef is cooking. This step can be done in a microwave or on the stove. Make a slurry with the cornstarch and water in a small bowl. Put the rest of the marinade in a saucepan and heat it over medium-high heat. Add the cornstarch slurry and stir until the sauce gets thick, which should take about one to two minutes. Take it off the heat. After the beef is done in the air fryer, put it in a large bowl with the steamed broccoli. Then, pour the thickened sauce over the top of the beef and broccoli. Toss everything to cover it all. Hot Instant Pot Beef and Broccoli should be served on top of rice or noodles. Enjoy your air-fried beef and broccoli that you made yourself!
