rewatching lesmand bus scene and "former maker" sure is a way to refer to magnus. raising questions such as 'can one change makers?' and 'if so who is lestat's adoptive maker?' and 'is it marius?' and 'armand knows this? why does he know this? how does he know this? did lestat tell him this pre-trial? did this affect anything that happened between lesmand pre-trial?' and 'what are armand's thoughts and feelings about this considering marius' abandonment (not to mention ill-treatment, to say the least) of him?' and 'is referring to magnus as a former maker acceptance of lestat's potential relationship with marius (a relationship i had until now presumed dead in a ditch given lestat doesn't seem that invested in marius in showverse)?'. ESPECIALLY considering how often (even gratuitously) marius came up this episode even with nicki writing his name in blood (that was lestat's mind at work....has to count for something even if no graffiti from paris all the way to cairo). will we have evil awful sinister pseudoincestuous marimandstat after all........
