I love the desert. I like the quiet, the open land, the smells, and the unshakeable and resilient landscape. This was my first time in Marfa, Texas and it was an incredible experience. I slept in a tent (which had a bed - so it was pretty nice!), froze my butt off at night and the early mornings, and it was hot and dry during the day. When I took this night shot, it was in the low 30's and the wind was blowing pretty good. I remember my hands being numb, but enjoying the light show of stars above. It showed me how resilient I can be. I have learned to adapt to all kinds of situations in the outdoors, as well as in life. I can't wait for more moments like this!
