Yeah, I’ve seen some Greg fans angry that Rachel and Aline destroyed his character by writing him in a way that doesn’t gel with his previous behaviour. Me, personally, my only issue with it is that I want Marco to get told off, especially as we see how guilty it makes Rebecca feel.

But while watching it, and on this, now my fourth rewatch, it doesn’t feel remotely out of character. And frankly, like, I don’t care if this show makes dudes look terrible?

You’d think on THIS show of all shows, we’d have a fandom that is OK with characters being flawed. Most of the main characters have serious moral flaws they need to on and I still love them all.

I mean, like, to take this shit further: Let’s think about how much Greg takes after his dad.

Greg at the beginning of the series, clearly sees that Rebecca isn’t well and yet actively tries to have sex with her, only stopping because she actually starts crying. And honestly... that’s a big problem I have with Greg in season 1. He knows that Rebecca has problems, she even TELLS him but he never leaves her alone.
