I wonder if the meditation I believe in is really meditation at all. I believe in metacognition and awareness of ones thoughts. I do not believe I am my thoughts. I do not believe in getting attached to my thoughts, but I donβt like a total detachment of myself from my thoughts, which is what I feel like a lot of Buddhist teaching have meant. Maybe I have misunderstood or taken it too far. Christianity taught me to take religion too far. Total detachment from my thoughts feel passive and unfulfilling. Iβve never liked the idea of watching thoughts life passing cars or clouds in the sky. I am not my thoughts, but I still want them to feel part of me, for they are of me. I will not watch them pass, but follow them gently like a child chases a butterfly before releasing it back into the universe.

WOMEN'S DAY
The class was on March 9, one day after Women's Day. Therefore, on March 10, a national stike called #ADayWithoutUs was held, in order to raise awareness about the misogyny, femicides, and gender violence that women experience every day.
In class they gave us the opportunity to give our points of view on the subject. Moreover, we saw the importance of the image in these movements.
For example, the criticism after the government of Mexico put the barrier outside Palacio Nacional to "protect" themselfs. That showed the lack of interest in the dialogue and understanding of the subject.
