spent all day today writing an essay instead of all next week like i’d planned. why? so i can hurry up and finish schoolwork and work on my fanfiction. nothing else gives me that level of motivation

i have a really boring professor for two of my classes this semester, which is soooo good bcs that means i get to spend almost 6 hours a week planning out scenes of my fic in my head. i got 2000 words written today because of it

i was hoping to get more done on the sweet child o’ mine sequel on my trip this summer than i have, but unfortunately i’ve been spending most of the writing time i have daydreaming about the rest of faye’s time in school that takes place after the events of the sequel … so

i have literally written 228,912 words of a marauders long fic that is entirely self-indulgent. like no plans on even publishing it unless i finished it (and i’m only in second year). this is the true meaning of fanfic writing
