Part of the Prayer Plant family Marantaceae, these Brazilian Star Calatheaย (Goeppertia loeseneri, formerlyย Calathea loeseneri) appears to be blooming throughout the year in the Gardens by the Bay.
These were taken against dark undergrowth with the exposure biased 1-2/3 stops darker.
