Unfortunately this Frydek Albo might die on me. The first leaf that emerged is completely white. I see some green in the stem so I suspect the ability to make chlorophyll is not completely absent but I don't have high hopes
My Monstera has decided to punch aggressively through the moss pole. She also rooted through the bottom of the cup in like a week. Idk she's going places.
I accidentally fucked up this girl's leaf by tying the leaf to a stick badly so the new leaf got bunched up against it while trying to push out. it's currently unfurling. Looks a bit... crinkled. I hope she'll figure it out.
My Kalanchoe has recovered from her root loss pretty damn well which is great news
the Calathea continues to look like she lost a bar fight and she STILL has spider mites uugh
I don't think she's low on water though, the pot doesnt feel that light. she iscjust dramatic
I might get a separate plastic box for the calatheas to get the humidity up a bit but I'm not gonna put them in the same box as my alocasia girls while mite infested
edit:
forgot to gush about the beautiful marbling on my aurea
I swear it's gotten more vibrant
So most of my plants died with the move and the smoke etc, and my rental I was in the longest was VERY DARK. Almost no natural light. All plants either died or took a 6 month ride on the struggle bus.
This orbifolia is my favorite plant, my ride or die plant. He ain't like other orbifolias; he's built different. Better.
Trimmed off his struggling leaves from the dark black mold rental, and he's shooting up new leaves constantly. He's so beautiful again.
tiny pixel Calathea I drew on my phone a few months ago and forgot to post!
