We all have things that we do to prepare for the Summer months. Of course, that includes beach essentials and more. What about your hair? I don’t know about you, but when temperatures rise my hair becomes drier than it usually is. One of the first things I do is to figure out where I can make changes in my wash day routine. While I work on narrowing down I received some much-needed assistance courtesy of Maple Holistics.

Last year, I reviewed their Almond Oil. This time I selected their Silk 18 Shampoo & Conditioner (10 oz.) set. One thing I really enjoyed about the set is the smell. It has a nice vanilla smell that reminds of cake. Another thing that I noticed is the consistency. Although both products are sulfate-free they each produce a good lather.

The application was easy, and I didn’t have any issues with rinsing them out. It is still too early to see the results, but I don’t have many complaints. The one thing I will say is to make sure you push down the cap correctly. Other than that, no major complaints so far. Maple Holistics Silk 18 Shampoo & Conditioner is available in 8oz and 10 oz. on their website. They are sulfate, silicone, and paraben-free. Also, it is suitable for all hair types, color treated hair, and sensitive skin.
