17. Are they easily embarrassed?

Oromis was raised in a prim and proper noble family in the Summerset Isles. Embarrassment isn't something he's used to, though he's quick to make a sneering comment that could send the subject into tears. He doesn't receive it well and will get red and snappy very easily. His younger sister, Avy (the Hero of Kvatch) loves to send Oromis spluttering! The more embarrassed he is, the more amused she becomes. Oromis doesn't resent her for this . . . too much! tl;dr he can dish it but he can't take it.

11. How do they cope with confusion?

Oromis is very adaptable. He has to be because he gets sent on a lot of field work and field work for the Mages Guild can be either very boring or very weird depending. He's also a researcher (in loose terms), so when he doesn't know something or things don't line up, he's able to work out how to get some kind of answer. Does he like feeling confused? No, not at all. He handles it but he wouldn't be opposed to avoiding the feeling forever. Confusion is disorderly, and disorder is never conductive to knowledge. This is what makes his mantling of Sheogorath so tragic, because Sheogorath is everything Oromis isn't and yet has become. tl;dr grumpy toleration.

29. Do they usually live up to their own ideals?

Oromis is very stubborn. He's the eldest child of a lesser son in a High Elven noble house. His mom had Plans™ for him. And his response was to respectfully put those plans in a shredder and join the Mages Guild. He's going to do and get what he wants and will often angle a situation so he can reach his goal. Up until the time of the Oblivion Crisis, he saw himself on track to join the Mages Council and ultimately the Archmage. If he could've given himself a gold "You're Doing Great!" star, he would have. This all went to pot when he found himself in the Shivering Isles and becoming the Daedric Prince of Throwing Life Plans At Ceiling Fans. The Oromis part of his brain was not happy, no. So tl;dr yes but actually no.
