What heâs not expecting is finding Alex sitting at the bar. Alone. Hell -- last Kyle checked, Manes was off trying to get his own sort of closure. Or beginning. He canât exactly remember.

   His fingers curl, gripping into the cloth that covers his shoulders. ( not for long. ) Heâs been back for maybe ten minutes -- already knowing that Alexâs embrace is a better comfort that the bottle heâd tried to drown himself in when heâd started to RUN again. So instead of running, heâs here. His smile is here. His lips are nearly closing off the gap between them -- but still far enough to breathe hot air against Alexâs own tainted lips.
